I get asked a lot, along with probably most writers, what inspires me. There's no simple answer. Inspiration may come from a song that comes on in the grocery store while I'm trying to decide between strawberry or blueberry yogurt, the sound of the ocean, the shared smile with a stranger, a spider web lurking on the porch, sharing a beer with a friend, or reading another author's work.
